HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SMOKEY BEAR!

August 9 was Smokey Bear's 60th Birthday!  To celebrate his birthday, the U.S. Forest Service, De Soto Ranger District, will have a "birthday party" for Smokey at Edgewater Mall on Saturday, August 14, 2004, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. located near the carousel).

Of course, Smokey Bear will be here, too! 

Come on out, kids, and meet him in person!
