SMOKEY BEAR’S 60 TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
SET FOR AUGUST 3 RD!

Lufkin – The Texas Forestry Museum’s Smokey Bear Birthday Party is right around the corner. On Tuesday, August 3 rd, the public is invited to come to the Museum from 5:00-7:00 p.m. to celebrate Smokey Bear’s 60 th birthday. This is an event that you won’t want to miss! There will be food, activities, and fun for everyone.

Smokey Bear is planning a special appearance at the party. You can wish him a happy birthday and have your picture taken with him. Guests at the party will have a chance to sign a special birthday card for Smokey. There will be coloring sheets and Smokey crafts available for children, and you can play “Pin the Nose on Smokey.” Of course, there will be FREE birthday cake, courtesy of Texas Baking Company, and lemonade from Chick Fil-A available for all participants. A hot dog, a bag of chips, and a drink can be purchased for $2.00.

Kids’ Club Members at the party will receive a special party favor for attending. Not a member of Kids’ Club? Don’t worry, you can join or renew your membership at the party. Mark August 3 rd on your calendar so that you can come out and celebrate “Sixty Years of Vigilance” with Smokey Bear!
